Bonita Krieger was born and raised on the Cape Flats, a place known for its vibrancy and resilient spirit. After a career as a conveyancing paralegal, and having owned a successful hair salon in Mitchells Plain, Bonita followed her passion for gentle, natural beauty care and founded Soothe and Bloom.
Inspired by the resilience born out of challenges, Soothe and Bloom offers a range of vegan and cruelty-free hair and body care products. Every single item is lovingly formulated, handmade in small batches, and packaged by Bonita herself. We use only the finest plant-based ingredients – think soothing aloe vera, hydrating cucumber, nourishing shea butter, and the delightful scents of mango and pink peony – to nurture your skin and hair.
